Pychowicka Loop is a project for a free, fun-packed natural surface trail on Górka Pychowicka. Twisty and flowy, this Flow Trail style track was designed to deliver safe fun for everyone – from children and casual cyclists to mountain biking enthusiasts.
In Stage I, we plan a loop for beginners, featuring a smoothed surface, gentle elevation changes, and a length of about 2.5 km. Even though the trail will be easy, riding it at a faster pace will deliver a total blast for everyone.
Pychowicka Hill is a beautiful, wild, and relatively undiscovered spot in Kraków. Just a 5-minute bike ride from the Vistula riverbank trail, you'll find breathtaking viewpoints, cliffs, and historic caverns. The trail will be routed to minimize any impact on the local flora, fauna, and landscape values – after all, mountain biking is fundamentally about connecting with nature.
In Stage II, we will aim to expand the loop with a few extra sections for more ambitious riders - featuring a more varied surface, obstacles, and steeper gradients. In this full option, the trail will measure around 3.5 km.
Both options will be 100% free and open to the public.
